Thermal Water

Thermal water is the true treasure and natural wealth of Hotel Terme Neroniane Spa Resort. Its origin in the springs of Montegrotto Terme has contributed to making the town one of Europe’s most renowned spa destinations, celebrated worldwide. We are fully aware that thermal water is a precious resource, to be protected and never wasted, just like the planet that hosts us. At our hotel, we are committed each day to adopting actions, systems and technologies that enable us to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. We implement procedures and practices aimed at reducing our environmental impact, including the responsible use of water resources—both thermal and non-thermal—material recycling, energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions. In addition, we actively promote environmental awareness among our staff and guests, fostering a shared understanding of the importance of conserving natural resources.

In particular, we have adopted the following solutions:

Energy Saving

We have installed a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system.

We use LED lighting and low-energy illumination throughout the property.

Our car park is equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.

Our car park is equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. The hyperthermal water drawn from our springs is reused, after its therapeutic use, to heat the hotel during the colder months, thereby almost completely eliminating CO₂ emissions.

For our operations, we use 100% certified electricity from clean, renewable sources, with no CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere and no exploitation of natural resources. See more »

Waste and Resource Reduction

All members of staff are committed to the correct disposal of waste through the practice of separate waste collection. For several years now, we have been engaged in a process aimed at reducing the use of plastic throughout all areas of the hotel. This is an ongoing journey, and we kindly ask for the cooperation of both our staff and our guests. Wherever possible and in line with the required expertise, we choose to employ local staff and to make primary use of local products and suppliers. Likewise, for the significant redevelopment and renovation projects carried out each year, we engage almost exclusively companies from the surrounding area, in order to support small businesses and strengthen the local economy.

Your Contribution

To help limit water consumption, we kindly ask you not to leave taps or showers running unnecessarily. We also encourage you to limit the frequency of towel changes in your bathroom, in order to reduce unnecessary use of water and detergents.

We further invite you to reduce the use of private cars during your stay by taking advantage of the many public transport options available. Our reception team will be pleased to provide all the necessary information. Please note that the tourist train “Il Puffetto”, connecting Montegrotto to Abano, enters the grounds of our hotel; the bus stop to Padua is located at the hotel entrance, and the Terme Euganee railway station is approximately 700 metres away.

We have also upgraded our water systems to further reduce water consumption.
Our kitchen brigade strives to minimise food waste as much as possible. To this end, the team undertakes specific training courses, as in the kitchen there is no room for improvisation.
The true challenge is to reduce waste and preserve resources without making this commitment feel burdensome to you — and, where possible, to involve you in this shared responsibility, in the belief that together we can live in harmony on our Mother Earth.
