Volcanic by nature… and spirit
Euganean Hills

Let yourself be enchanted by a land rich in history, culture, and captivating landscapes.

Hotel Terme Neroniane is situated at the foot of the Euganean Hills: of volcanic origin, they are a Regional Park and are therefore protected from a natural, architectural, and historical-cultural perspective.
The Euganean Hills have received significant recognition as a UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve, which highlights the importance of this hilly area as an example of the balance between biodiversity conservation and human development.

Although not a vast territory, they are full of surprises and treasures to discover: medieval villages such as Arquà Petrarca, elected one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and the final home of Francesco Petrarca; Venetian villas like the monumental Villa dei Vescovi, owned by FAI, or the Italian-style gardens of Valsanzibio, the scenic Villa Selvatico with its thermal pond gardens; castles such as Catajo and Lispida; abbeys and monasteries (Praglia Abbey, Monastery of San Daniele, the Hermitage of Monte Rua).

In the southern part, we invite you to visit the walled towns of Monselice, Este, and Montagnana with their history, fortifications, and local products. The walls of these towns resonate with history, echoing the battles for control of these coveted lands.

But the true marvel is revealed along the rolling hills: gentle slopes, rows of vineyards interspersed with olive and fruit trees, trekking paths leading through valleys and up to hilltops where, on a clear day, Venice can be glimpsed on the horizon.
